Dr. Buczek attended medical school at the University of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa. After completing a traditional rotating internship, Dr. Buczek completed a 4 year residency in general surgery during which time he was chief surgical resident for two years. Following his residency, Dr. Buczek accomplished a one-year cosmetic plastic surgery fellowship in the Philadelphia area which included training and education in London, England as well as fulfilling certification in microvascular surgery.
